Self-Improvement Hypnosis CDs- Hypnotherapy CDs

Filed under general

To help you with using hypnosis yourself, so that you cna do whatever you want in life you need hypnosis downloads or hypnosis CDs. It really is possible to use self-hypnosis adn positive thinking to improve your life

Positive Thinking Hypnotherapy – Using Hypnosis and Positive Thinking for Success

Positive thinking hypnotherapy utilizes the power of positive thinking and hypnotherapy to instill in you an optimistic attitude.

Positive thinking hypnotherapysounds like a term straight out of a science fiction novel. There is nothing remotely fictional about it, actually, and if you practice positive affirmations, or saying positive things out loud to affirm yourself, then you might have an idea what positive thinking hypnotherapy is all about. But what is it, really? And is it for everyone?

Hard as it is to believe, positive thinking does have its share of critics who claim that it is nothing more than foolish and time-wasting idealism. Worse, they even justify negativity as being realistic. But Sir Winston Churchill said it best: "The optimist sees opportunity in every danger; the pessimist sees danger in every opportunity."

Even more vilified than positive thinking is hypnosis. People tend to think of hypnosis as some eerie form of mind control, the person being hypnotized completely at the mercy of the hypnotist doing his/her every bidding. And, heaven forbid, it should be used as actual therapy!

There is some truth to this, however. Mind control does, in fact, take place; but it is the person undergoing hypnosis who takes full control of his/her own mind; the hypnotherapist is merely a guide.

Our minds have a mysterious component known as the subconscious. It is here that all of our beliefs, memories, and experiences lay. What hypnotherapy does is reach into the subconscious and try to influence it, change it somehow, so that we may alter what it is we find undesirable about ourselves.

This method can be quite effective at helping us overcome fears or phobias, resolve self-esteem issues, or give up destructive habits and addictions like substance abuse and smoking, respectively.

So neither positive thinking nor hypnotherapy is deserving of the bad rep, really.

Positive thinking hypnotherapy is more specific, utilizing the power of positive thinking to instill in you an optimistic attitude. The idea is to reprogram your thoughts, actions, and reactions so that you are able to see the positive side to every situation more clearly and act or react accordingly, even when your mind is on autopilot mode.

This means that you automatically gravitate towards the positive, even when you are unaware of it. This will help you to become calmer and more focused when faced with a potential problem, and therefore, more attuned to the possibility nay, inevitabilityof a solution.

When you think positive, everything else just seems to fall into place. Or if they don’t, you are able to find other ways to make them fall into place (or come very close to it) because your positive approach will simply not allow you to wallow in defeat and surrender.

So if you find yourself saying ‘nay’ more than ‘yay,’ perhaps a bit more optimism in your life is what you need. Have a go at positive thinking hypnotherapy and give your subconscious a right good shake and a positive spin.

Self-Hypnosis is for Anyone

Anyone who is awake and who can reason can do self-hypnosis. Some
people will find self hypnosis or the ability to be hypnotized by
others easier, but with some practice, anyone can hypnotize themselves or be hypnotized.

It is very helpful to get rid of addictions like smoking or drinking too much, and to help improve your self-confidence.

Self hypnosis is not necessarily easy, because even
though anyone can do it, it does take some practice. So some effort is
required. Once you learn to do it on yourself, you may be able to help
others be hypnotized, but it is not a good idea to use hypnosis as
entertainment, rather it is meant to be a form of therapy.

Many people do not believe in hypnosis, but even if you do not believe
in hypnosis it can still work on you; you can still be
hypnotized. However, while you are trying to hypnotize yourself, you
will be aware of what you are doing and what you are trying to do, so
you must be willing to be hypnotized, and be actually trying.

Not believing in hypnotism can actually make it much more difficult to
self hypnotize ; if you don’t believe that something is
possible, it makes it that much more difficult to succeed. This is also
self fulfilling – if you don’t believe that it is possible,
you might not be able to do it the first time you try, and so you will
now have ‘proof’ that it is not possible.

In a situationlike this, it is best to try to find someone you know who hasexperienced being hypnotized and ask them for a description of it.
After you’ve talked to a few people about it, and received
similar descriptions of how it worked for them, you may be more ready
to try again.

Some background on hypnosis

Hypnotherapy is widely regarded as a ‘New Age’ trend, buthypnosis is not a new phenomenon. The earliest descriptions of
activities similar to hypnosis date back to ancient Egyptian rites,
over 6,000 years ago.

Physicians in Europe were using hypnosis in the17th and 18th centuries. And the word hypnosis itself was coined in
1843 by James Braid. There have been many studies done on hypnosis, aswell as various religions weighing in on hypnosis.

For example, the ancient Egyptians believed in its importance as part of their religion, while many present day Mormons frown on the idea, believing it opensthe mind for the devil to enter.
In the end, it is each person’s individual decision to determine whether hypnosis can help them.

There are 3 basic categories of hypnosis:

 Stage hypnosis, which many people are familiar with as it can be a fun form of entertainment;
Hypnotherapy, which is actually two categories;
Hypnosis done by another person;
Self hypnosis.

These are popular methods of therapy, and are often used as part of
programs to quit smoking or lose weight. It’s similar to the idea
of making tapes to listen to while you sleep in order to make your mind
think a certain way, except in hypnosis, you are usually awake and
accessing your subconscious mind for a very specific purpose.
